Miraya Burka

Miraya Burka is a New York-based actor, writer, producer, and filmmaker. She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a double major in Drama and Dramatic Writing and a minor in Film Production. She has studied at Lee Strasberg, RADA, Atlantic Theater Company, and Stonestreet Studios, and has worked at Sesame Workshop and The View.

Miraya has written, directed and produced for film, and is currently the producer for the sketch comedy duo Disco Horses.

She is dedicated to aiding in the diversification of the film industry and amplifying women's voices, with a focus on writing and directing feminist-focused horror.
